Good Ol’ Charleston: Memorial Day Weekend Style

“Charleston is one of the best built, most handsome, agreeable cities I’ve ever seen”

-Marquis de Lafayette

Charleston, One of the oldest ย cities in South Carolina and also one of the most beautiful! My boyfriend (Nicholas Oxendine) ย and I had the opportunity to travel down to the low country for our special friends’ wedding! Of course, we did it in style!

We traveled from Bluffton, S.C. (where the wedding was held) and Charleston in 2 days and had a damn good time. From the dancing, celebrating, eating, shopping and site seeing; we understood that this would have to happen again. Here are some of the styles and looks captured on our trip that I know you gentlemen can relate to. Just know I dressed for the bipolar weather and was pretty tricky.

the Urbnlook:ย This look was created for my dear friends Michael and Nikita’s Wedding! I dressed not only to be a guest but the M.C. for their reception. A lighter colored blazer to set the mood for Spring was a great choice!ย

theUrbnlook:ย I kept the suit look and made it more tourist friendly a.k.a. casual. Putting a henley shirt under your suit always makes things a little more simple. Also, notice the red, white and the blue for the fit. I tried to keep that color scheme for Memorial Day weekend; in the spirit of remembering the soldiers of our country.ย
